Sage is not an emergency service
Sage is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call 911.
Sage makes everyday phone calls and friendly check-in calls. When a check-in goes unanswered, it follows the alert ladder your family set up — retries, a text, alerts to family, a call to an emergency contact — and logs every step with a time stamp.
That ladder is not monitoring, not a medical alert, and not a substitute for 911. Sage never calls 911 and can't send help.
If June hears that someone may be hurt or in distress, it tells them: “If this is an emergency, please hang up and call 911,” and alerts their family right away.
